On Friday, April 26, we had the pleasure of visiting the Clay County Courthouse to speak with the Clay County Circut Clerk, Crystal Ballard. We were also graced with the presence of Sherrif Myers; State's Attorney, Phil Givens; and the honorable Judge Powless. They were also so welcoming and happy to discuss their roles within the county and circuit to us. We were able to sit in on a few court appearances and even unexpectedly witnessed a wedding! We were also able to tour the courthouse and view the large jury courtroom upstairs.

Thank you to everyone at Clay County Courthouse for your knowledge and hospitality and thank you to Crystal Ballard for organizing the morning. It was such an intriguing and enlightening visit!
